I am not a natural roller-skater

Went to a great BBQ at Thea's royal residence (practically opposite Buckingham Palace) last weekend. The BBQ was held in their large garage/downstairs space, complete with ping-pong table. Met her lovely friends and caught up with Amy too, which was a nice bonus!
Her new boyfriend, Neil is a top bloke and seemed unfazed as K and I proceeded to go under the influence...
Well, all I can say is - don't be fooled; if you can't roller skate when sober, don't attempt it when "tired"! Each time I was vertical for about 2 seconds before my legs went from under me (whilst being pulled along by the three amigos). The posh lot opposite having a rah rah dinner party must have loved how I 'lifted' the area with my graceful, almost ballerina-style movements.

Oh, well Kat was no better behaved, but I can't go into that for fear of legal (read: dumping) action...

You have to read The End of Alice! Ok, it's quite disturbing but also mesmorising and doesn't demonise the central character, a paedophile (The Daily Mail HATED it - what a recommendation!). She's definitely my favourite author at the moment. If that's too downbeat for you check out her latest: This Book will Save your Life. Can't promise that, but it should make you feel happier.
