Eye of the tiger - grrr!

As K said there are now three 'people' in our relationship, me, K and energies gym... Heh, well it's heading that way anyway. I'm trying to go everyday and so will be off tonight after work. I also have to keep a food diary for three days from thursday. I think the eating better is going to be harder than exercising but we'll see. I now have my full program to carry on with, which includes weights and cardio and can also go to classes if I want. I enjoy working out on my own really, so don't think I will be taking advantage of them. I got up at 7am yesterday and went before work, was quite proud of myself. I am determined to be fitter (and more productive) by Xmas. K and I are also planning to embark on some alternative health treatments in the new year so that should be interesting.

Went to the covent garden comedy club the other night for Amy's birthday - it was very funny and Rob Deering was on (he was the only one I had heard of).

Things are progressing with the flat, we will be having the roof fixed shortly and hopefully sorting out the leak in the bathroom and the living room ceiling. We are writing to upstairs landlord to sort it as we have got no reponse from the noisy bastard tenant.

Work is going ok, haven't heard back from the two jobs I applied for yet. I hope to get an interview for at least one of them but will keep looking as ever.

My writing class is alright. Went last night and have a short piece to do for next week. My only concern is that not much teaching is happening. I mean if I wanted to read out some writing each week and just get a 'very nice' or 'good' comment I could read it to K or a friend. I really wanted to get some more constructive feedback and some help on how to actually write - so its not shaping up as I hoped at the moment. One of my friends in the class has a boyfriend who is also taking the course but on a different night and he gets much more feedback... We'll see. I don't want to be paying £200 (plus £2 for photocopying!) to not get what I expected out of it. If I manage to write anything decent I might put it on here.

Saw Transamerica on filmflex over the weekend. Was very good, better than I had been led to believe. Felicity Huffman was excellent and it was a sweet and quite realistic story. She was convincing as a man and I felt you really got an insight into the transgender experience.
